As various industries move towards modeling massive 3D virtual worlds, the need for content creation tools that can scale in the quantity, quality, and variety of 3D content becomes apparent.
SDC 3D NFT is fully functional. So it is not just a photograph or an object. It can be directly transferred and used to the desired platform. In addition, they are nfts created entirely using artificial intelligence. So real world objects turn into 3D nft. You are probably already familiar with the definitions: ERC-721 standard token, ERC-1155 standard, ERC-998 standard. What are these standards? Although they are called standards for tokens, they are actually standards for smart contracts.
They set requirements for smart contracts serving immutable tokens. These requirements describe what features a smart contract must have in order for third-party applications â such as exchanges like OpenSea â to work the same with all tokens. In addition, they only ensure that the information about which tokens belong to whom. That is, your NFT is also an entry in the smart contract table. Then where is the 3D NFT? Here we come to the most interesting. NFT = Blockchain+ Metadata + 3D Nft We've solved the record on the blockchain, but where is everything else?
The environment in most of the tokens currently in existence and the data about these environments are not stored on the blockchain.
Storing large amounts of data on the ehereum blockchain is very expensive. Even if you want to store the 3D NFT name and e.g. statistics vector on the blockchain, the SDC will cost you an additional $30-40 when released. And every change in its properties (for example, if you improve it) will need to be entered into the blockchain, which means you have to pay for gas. And storing large media is not only expensive but also inconvenient.
